Curaçao music can now be exported

In a Room full of local talents, The Minister of Economic Development launched the export path of Curacao Music om May, 10, 2024.

The minister along with the ministry has been working hard on an economic diversification based on the National Export Strategy of Curaçao. One of the areas of development is the Creative Sector that boasts with a wide array  of arts.

The export of our music brings us endless economic benefits. It generates more income for the local musician, both through local and international performances, it creates job opening and foreign exchange for our country; all this, with numerous positive effects on our economy.

Apart from this all, the export of our music also gives a boost to the image of Curaçao abroad.

The minister emphasized that this journey involves all music genres that have been part of our musical scene in Curaçao for more than 400 years.

The Curaçao Music Office aims to help and guide all local musicians that wish to export their music to the world.

The offices of the Curaçao Music Office is located at the 5th floor in the same building where the ministry is currently located.
