Press Conference – Tourism Development Curaçao 2026

On January 22, 2026, the Government of Curaçao, through the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO), hosted a press conference focused on tourism development and its economic impact.

During the session, key partners including Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), CHATA, and the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) presented updates on cruise and stayover tourism performance, hotel developments, visitor trends, and major tourism investment projects planned for 2026.

The presentation also highlighted tourism’s contribution to economic growth, employment, and sustainable development, reinforcing tourism as a key pillar of Curaçao’s economy.
